You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Play Tarock Online through its website or official application. This is not a sale of the software. Do not copy or redistribute the software, bypass access controls, cheat, impersonate others, spam, harass, threaten, discriminate, or publish abusive, sexually exploitative or illegal content. You retain rights to your posts and grant the operator permission to store and display them solely to operate and moderate the service. You can report individual messages and block users or conversations. Reports go to the administrator; reporting hides content for you, not automatically for everyone. The operator may remove prohibited content and restrict or terminate accounts after review; contact the operator listed in the Terms to dispute a decision. Ending a license does not by itself cancel a paid subscription. The Terms below govern payments, cancellation, consumer rights and liability; the Privacy Policy governs personal data. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

1. Operator and acceptance
The service is provided by Monkey Apps, Žiga Elsner s.p., Sostrska cesta 49, 1261 Ljubljana, Slovenija, reg. no. 7404948000 (the operator). Contact: info@playtarockonline.com. By registering, signing in, or using the portal, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. A user under 18 needs a parent or legal guardian's permission to purchase a paid membership.
2. Service and accounts
The portal provides Tarock games with people or computer players, rules, statistics, and related features. You must provide a valid email address, protect your credentials, and promptly report unauthorized access. You may not create accounts to evade enforcement or manipulate results, ratings, or statistics.
3. Fair play and conduct
Harassment, cheating, collusion, exploiting defects, unauthorized automation, interference with the service, impersonation, and unlawful or rights-infringing content are prohibited. Report defects through the bug-reporting feature rather than exploiting them.
4. Game points and automated actions
Game points, player rating, rankings, and statistics have no monetary value. When a turn expires, the system may play a legal card and may calculate results or ratings under the published rules. We may correct an obvious technical or fraudulent result while retaining an audit trail.
5. Free service and Gold membership
Basic access is free. The final price of Gold membership is EUR 2.49 per month or EUR 24.90 per year, charged in advance. The operator is not currently registered for VAT, so VAT is not charged. If the tax treatment changes, the new total price will be clearly shown before payment or the next renewal. Gold benefits are described on the membership page and apply only while the subscription is active.
6. Payment and renewal
Stripe securely processes payments; the portal does not store the complete card number or security code. The subscription automatically renews monthly or annually and charges the selected payment method until cancelled. If payment fails, membership may be restricted or suspended. Receipts are provided electronically.
7. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time through account settings or by contacting info@playtarockonline.com. Cancellation stops the next renewal and membership normally remains active until the end of the paid period. We do not provide prorated refunds for a started billing period except where required by withdrawal rights, service non-conformity, or other mandatory law.
8. Consumer withdrawal right
A consumer may generally withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason by sending an unequivocal statement to info@playtarockonline.com. If you expressly request immediate performance of Gold membership and later withdraw, we may deduct the proportionate value of service supplied before withdrawal. Any refund is made without undue delay and within the statutory period, normally to the original payment method.
9. Price and service changes
We will clearly notify you of a price increase or material reduction in paid benefits before the next renewal. A new price applies only to a future billing period, and you may cancel beforehand. We may introduce non-material improvements, security changes, and new features without advance notice.
10. Availability
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, security incidents, force majeure, or third-party failures may cause downtime. Where reasonably possible, planned extended interruptions will be announced in advance.
11. Content and intellectual property
The software, design, text, branding, and other portal content are protected to the extent applicable. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the portal. You warrant that you may use content you upload and grant us the rights needed to store and display it for the service.
12. Restriction and termination
We may remove content or restrict or terminate an account where there is a reasonable suspicion of a breach, fraud, a security risk, or a legal obligation. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow a response. You may request account deletion, subject to records that must be retained by law or for legal claims.
13. Liability
Nothing excludes liability or consumer guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted, we are not liable for indirect loss, loss of virtual points, or consequences caused by your equipment, connection, breach, or third-party services. Consumers retain all mandatory remedies for a non-conforming paid digital service.
14. Law, disputes, and updates
Slovenian law applies, but this choice does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protections in their country of habitual residence. We will first try to resolve disputes through info@playtarockonline.com; mandatory jurisdiction rules remain applicable. We will provide reasonable advance notice of material changes to these terms.
Game recordings and promotional use
Gameplay is recorded automatically for replay, analysis, support and abuse prevention. Public game recordings are available to other users only after the entire match ends, normally for one hour, and may then reveal every player’s cards. Private rooms are not published publicly. To the extent you can grant these rights, you give the portal a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to record, reproduce, edit and publish anonymised public gameplay to demonstrate, teach and promote the portal. Promotional export removes names, nicknames, profile images and chat and does not imply your personal endorsement. Promotional use of identifiable personal data requires separate, voluntary consent and is not a registration condition. This update does not constitute consent from existing users for identifiable promotion.
